IDEA/CONCEPT
This piece reinterprets the timeless presence of ancient gods in the modern world. The powerful, unwavering gaze of the titan-like figure represents wisdom, leadership, and the weight of time. The juxtaposition of the smooth marble texture with the raw energy of graffiti and vibrant colors signifies the clash between order and chaos, permanence and impermanence. EXECUTION & PROCESS
The artwork was built upon a foundation of hyper-realistic rendering, ensuring the intricate details of the classical sculpture were preserved. The background was then layered with bold abstract strokes of magenta, orange, and blue to add movement and depth. Paint drips and overlays were incorporated to create a sense of urban decay and modern intervention, making the figure appear both ancient and contemporary. Highlights and shadowing techniques were used to give the sculpture a dramatic, almost divine illumination.
